As a kid, I started out afraid of the water. Luckily, I grew up in the warm waters of Georgian Bay and managed to get over my initial fears.
Now, I help people learn how to conquer their own fears, think of swimming just as they would any other sport, and discover the underwater wilderness.
I have a particular interest in how people come to make livelihoods around oceans, lakes and rivers. This will be one of the main focuses of this blog. Choosing to make a living from the ocean is not without special challenges in terms of lifestyle and income, but the rewards can be special.
Over the course of this exploration, I intend to seek out what can help us all make successful careers in and around the water.
